Cavium Networks Acquires Menlo
Logic
MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA,
January 6, 2006 – Cavium Networks, a world leader
in security, network services, and embedded processor solutions,
announced that it has acquired all assets of Menlo Logic LLC,
a privately-held embedded software company headquartered in
Palo Alto, California with a development center in India.
Menlo Logic’s software development team has extensive
experience in developing a range of software solutions including
embedded SSL Access solutions. Menlo Logic’s complete
suite of embedded software has been ported and optimized for
use with Cavium Networks’ NITROX Soho and OCTEON processors,
and is being offered to OEM customers.
All of Menlo Logic’s Palo Alto and India development center
employees have become employees of Cavium Networks. As part
of the transaction, Menlo Logic CTO Gopal Jayaraman has joined
Cavium Networks as Lead Architect. In addition, Ravi Shankar
N.S. has joined as Project Manager based in the Cavium Networks
India development center.
