The company's 6WINDGate Mobile Edition software is now deployed in major LTE commercial networks in Asia, Europe and North America. According to a recent report by Maravedis, the worldwide LTE subscriber base reached 12 million by the end of 2011, with a 92% growth rate during the fourth quarter. Maravedis projects that there will be 469 million LTE subscribers by 2016, so LTE service providers worldwide are challenged to build out their network capacity with acceptable Return on Investment, while ensuring that their networks are fully scalable in anticipation of traffic growth driven by new LTE devices and the next "killer app." At the same time, their overall network
