Software

What are the unique features of the Cavium Solution?

The Cavium software driver provides macro-processing benefits.  A typical server takes 20 to 100 instructions to process a typical SSL/TLS handshake whereas Cavium’s solution can perform the complete handshake as a single instruction providing significant savings in CPU utilization and reducing overall system bandwidth.

What are the software drivers available?

Support for both Linux and Windows.

Has Microsoft certified the Windows driver?

Yes. The driers are WHQL certified.

What kernel versions are supported?

2.6.18, 2.6.27

Do you support FreeBSD Drivers?

No.  Let us know your interest and the number of cards you need.

What Web Servers are supported?
