OVERVIEW
The PureVu™ CNW5621 is a full HD H.264 video co-processor,
specically designed to enable wireless display capability on
PCs, notebook PCs and netbooks. It combines up to
1920x1200p60 H.264 compression capability with HDCP 2.0
content protection in a highly integrated SIP package (including
DDR2 video memory), making it the ideal solution for laptop
Display Minicard (DMC) form factor.
By completely off-loading the laptop CPU from the compute
intensive video compression and encryption tasks, the CNW5621
from Cavium allows almost the entire processing power of the
host CPU to be available to the user, while the PureVuTM chip
enables remote viewing of the laptop content, be it stored locally,
or streamed from the internet.
